Description
The Event:
Indonesian culinary juggernaut Kaki Lima is kicking off its 2017 West Coast Pop Up Tour in Portland, collaborating with Gado Gado PDX on an epic, open-fire feast. Han Oak will host this totally unique event, which will offer a rare lineup of flavor-packed Indonesian dishes, both classic and modern, all prepared in front of guests over an outdoor fire pit.
This will be the third collaboration between Chefs Retno Pratiwi and Thomas Pisha-Duffly, and they are going all out to make this dinner the most exciting one yet! The mulit-course meal on Oct. 18 is open to ticket holders only. Limited seating is available and these events typically sell out fast, so be sure to get yours right away. (Important: Because of the nature of these events, we are unable to accommodate allergies and other dietary restrictions. Be aware that shrimp paste, tree nuts and peanuts are used in a lot of Indonesian cooking. Sorry!)
The price of the ticket gets you a seat at the table for this multi course meal celebrating the smoked, grilled and charred flavors of Indonesia. Full service bar provided by Han Oak, drinks will be available for purchase.
