play Jazz Weekend in Wicker Park

Renowned Chicagoan and legendary jazz percussionist Kahil El Zabar and the Ethnic Heritage Ensemble will perform 2 concerts and host a Friday master class for students, benefiting A.N. Pritzker School - a fine and performing arts magnet in the Heart of Wicker Park, Friday February 10 and Saturday February 11th
- Friday February 10th begins with a master class for Students from 12 until 3 at Pritzker School
- family/student concert - @ 7:00 pm - tickets $20 and $10 with Student ID.
- Any and all music students are welcome to attend.
- Saturday February 11th will feature the Ethnic Heritage Ensemble
- 9 pm performance - tickets $30 and $50 - VIP
- VIP ticket includes preferred seating,preshow reception@ 8:00pm, complimentary refreshments, CD raffle, photo with the artists and beverage discounts at Blue Line Lounge and Grill.
Students and parents are encouraged to attend Friday February 10th’s evening of “edu-tainment” featuring Pritzker school student musicians in this culmination of a “master class” hosted by El Zabar and Ethnic Heritage Ensemble members Corey Wilkes (trumpet) and Ernest Dawkins (sax). The players will have spent the day rehearsing and end the day with a concert for the community with students and professionals playing together. The community and student musicians are especially invited to attend.
Saturday February 11th - 9 pm performance - tickets $30 and $50.

Refreshments will be available for sale, provided by Caribou Coffee, Flying Saucer and other local bakers.
All concert goers are invited to visit Blue Line Lounge and Grill for drink specials all weekend long. Just mention the "Pritzker Jazz Concert".
A.N. Pritzker School, at 2009 W. Schiller Avenue Chicago, 60622, is a fine and performing arts magnet which also serves as a neighborhood school and a regional gifted center in the heart of the Wicker Park neighborhood in Chicago. All concert and café proceeds will go to support the school and its music programs. Our goals include purchasing new low brass instruments, secure portable instrument storage, improving rehearsal space.
