Celebrate Foundation Day with Kaarle McCulloch!

Kaarle McCulloch, World Champion Sprint Cyclist and Charles Sturt University student, is talking sport and study and how she finds balance in her busy schedule.

Kaarle began studying more than 10 years ago at University and has experienced the evolution of online study. Attend this special online presentation to learn why she chooses to study, the importance of education in her life, how she achieves balance, and the similarities between students and professional athletes.


Kaarle McCulloch is a professional track cyclist for the Australian Cycling Team, specialising in the discipline of Sprint.

A member of the Australian Cycling team since 2006, Kaarle has been to 10 World Championships, 2 Commonwealth Games and 2 Olympic Games. She has won 6 World Championship Medals including 4 x World Champion, 6 Commonwealth Games Medals including 3 x Commonwealth Champion, and a Bronze medal at the London 2012 Olympics.

Kaarle is part of Charles Sturt’s Elite Athlete program and is studying a Bachelor of Education in Health and Physical Education. She expects to graduate in 2021.
