Justice Rally: The Abolitionist Battlefield
Event Information
Description
February 1st-4th
Elijah Rising invites you to join the Justice Rally, a one of a kind event filled with daily training and direct intervention into every part of the sex industry in Houston.
Join us, along with local and national ministry partners, for 4 days of training, worship and survivor informed intervention. Together, we will learn from survivor leaders and abolitionist experts from across the nation.
James 1:27 says, "Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world."
What if Houston stopped talking about abolition, and actually did something about it?

UPDATE: On Wednesday Feb 1st from 10am-5pm, Exodus Cry is hosting an all-day Intervention Workshop before the Elijah Rising Justice Rally kicks off. This additional training will lay a foundation for the essential heart values involved in outreach, outline how to start an outreach team in your home city and give detailed practical training for different types of outreach (street, strip-club and Backpage), many of which will be put into practice over the following days of the Justice Rally.
Exodus Cry's newly released 200 page Intervention and Outreach training manual, which also includes a digital (video) full training on a USB, will be provided for every workshop attendee. (This kit is normally priced at $250).

FAQs:
Will childcare be provided? Although we love and cherish the next generation being raised up in prayer and awareness, we are unable to provide childcare during the event.
Where should I stay? Houston is a large city that is commuter friendly, which means there are several ways to get to and from the venue location. Our suggestion is to look for hotels or AirBNB locations that are along Highway 290 and are outside the Sam Houston Tollway / Beltway 8 Loop. (They are the same highway with 2 different names).
Do you have hotels offering group discounts? Super Bowl will be one of the largest events Houston has seen in a long time. There is an expected surplus of 100,000 or more people visiting the ciy the entire week leading up to the Super Bowl. Unfortunately, the means we do not have hotels who are offering group discount rates.
Will my photograph be taken during the event? Yes. To best share our victories with those who were not able to attend the Justice Rally, photography and videography will be in production during the event.
What if I've never done intervention before? It is okay if you've never done intervention! Not many people have done intervention on this scale before. The Justice Rally will be a unique experience where you will learn to do intervention, see someone do intervention and then do intervention. We are here to train and equip the body of Christ!
What if I don't have a ride? Houston is a commuter friendly city that offers public transportation via Houston Metro and Uber. You may also visit this website to learn more about the transportation in Houston: http://www.housuperbowl.com/transportation.
What if I don't have a computer? We will partner you with someone who does have a computer. And if we have an excess number of computers then we may ask you to allow someone else to borrow yours to better outreach to the online trafficking community.
Is there parking assistance? Parking will be available in front of the building and all along the backside of the building complex. Additional parking can be made along Mitchelldale St. We will also be communicating via push notification through our event app, which can be downloaded for free from the iTunes App or Google Play store, to better notify you when parking lots are full.
Is there handicap access? There is one handicap ramp available on the front entrance of the event venue.
