About this Event

Apr 29 & 30 2021

9am-12pm (PDT)

Vikki's online workshop is informed by a spirit of solidarity & social justice activism. An ethics of Justice-Doing in our work requires we have a hopeful skepticism about our practice, examining our work to see if we are "walking our talk" as social movements teach. This workshop aims to build intentional community to hold space for a rigorous investigation into the ethics alive in our work. We will be exploring the following ideas related to sustaining ourselves and promoting ethical practice within the context of mean-spirited politics and oppressive structural violence:

  • Collective Ethics & Creating Cultures of Accountability
  • Our Ethical Stance of Justice-Doing
  • Collective Care & the Zone of Fabulousness
  • Solidarity Teams & "Living" Supervision
  • Leaning in, imperfect allyship & a Supervision of Solidarity
