The Division of Social Science in the Faculty of Arts & Sciences at Columbia University presents the Just Societies Speaker Series, the signature initiative of Dean Fredrick Harris. The final JSSS event of the Spring 2019 semester will be a featured talk from George Chauncey, DeWitt Clinton Professor of History at Columbia University.

Professor Chauncey's lecture is entitled "Rethinking the Closet: New York Queer Life before Stonewall" and will take place in the East Gallery of Maison Française on the afternoon of Tuesday, April 16, 2019, beginning at 4:00pm.
