Tony Tixier is a Pianist, Composer, Yamaha Artist, has performed with a wide range of music legends from Andrea Bocelli, Alpha Blondy to Wallace Roney, Christian Scott, Seamus Blake, Logan Richardson, Etienne Charles, Keyon Harrold ... He has been featured on some of the top stages in the world including Radio City Music Hall, Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel live, Blue Note NYC, Jazz in Marciac, Jazz a Vienne, and the legendary Ronnie Scotts in London.

In 2009, Tixier signed Parallel Worlds, his first album in septet with bold orchestral writings that defines itself as a laboratory of sounds and climates.

In 2012, he joined the SpaceTime Record label for which he recorded the album Dream Pursuit with his quartet featuring Justin Brown , Logan Richardson and Burniss Earl Travis II .

He opened for Herbie Hancock at the Jazz En Tete Festival in Clermont-Ferrand with his twin brother, violinist Scott Tixier.

Tony and Scott Tixier starred in commissioned work by the Artist Janet Cardiff . They composed the music for this project that was a part of the inaugural program for the Foundation Louis Vuitton Paris (building architect Frank Gehry).

Tixier also played at Radio City Music Hall as the pianist for the NBC TV show America's Got Talent...

In 2017 Tixier began ambassador for Hennessy VSOP and write the music of the new campaign in collaboration with BJ The Chicago Kid.

In 2018 his trio album Life of Sensitive Creatures with bassist Karl McComas-Reichl and drummer Tommy Crane on Whirlwind Recordings

Tony been signed as a Yamaha Artist since 2017
