We are so excited to provide a venue for you to promote your business to our community and feel privileged that you have chosen this unique and creative way to market your products, resources or services at the Just Between Friends Event on March 3-5, 2017 at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center. Thank you! Please take the time to review the following information and let me know if you have any questions. I want your experience to be great so I encourage proper planning.
Set up is Thursday, March 2nd, between 9am and 12pm, the earlier you do this the better since we have shoppers as early as 11:30am. Set up at Livestock Events Center, 1350 N. Wells Ave, Reno NV, Exhibit Hall. Please enter through the front doors of the exhibit hall. We should have some rolling racks available to you if you need them. Your business name will be on the space you are allotted. There will be electricity available to you; however, it is your responsibility to bring an extension cord and to secure it with duct tape on the floor.
All booths must begin breaking down by the end of business hours on Sunday, March 5th at 2pm.
You must provide your own 6 ft. table, we will provide ONE chair. You can decorate your table any way you'd like.
I'm sorry but we are unable to provide internet service. If you have a large display, please let me know ASAP, however, keep in mind that space is extremely limited.
***Please park in the back of the exhibit hall, or by the street, for the entire event so we can allow our shoppers to have the parking in front.

Friday, 9am-8pm (open to the public)
Saturday, 9am-3pm (open to the public)
Sunday, 9am-2pm (open to the public)
You are solely responsible for the manning, operation, setup and breakdown of your booth. We understand that it is a big time commitment. Remaining at your booth is NOT mandatory. However, for maximum exposure, I would recommend having someone at your booth at all times. Please be advised that JBF is not responsible for your booth or any items left unattended. Your table must be set up for the duration of the event. We have a Saturday night Half Price Presale from 3-8pm for our consignors, volunteers, and their guests, as such you don't have to be there if you choose not to be. However, you are more than welcome to be there, you are also welcome to shop beginning at 5pm.
We are excepting between 2,000 and 3,000 shoppers for this event. Thursday evening will be very busy as well as Friday and Saturday morning. Sunday all day will be very busy.
Vendor shopping time during the presale is at 2pm on Thursday, no earlier unless you are volunteering in some way during the sale and qualify to shop earlier.
***Please do not store any unpaid merchandise at your booth. JBF Reno reserves the right to search booth space at any time. You are welcome to shop but any items must be purchased immediately to be fair to our consignors.
I would highly recommend not bringing your children with you during the event but we understand if you need to. They MUST be with you at your booth at ALL times. If it becomes a problem we will ask that you take them home.
I will provide a one-time tax return, and tax rate card from the Nevada department of taxation at the event. This is required by the state for ALL businesses regardless of type. If you are selling items at your table, you must charge sales tax and I am required to collect it. Please follow the instructions. You must turn the one-time tax return into me BEFORE you leave the event on Sunday, along with any sales tax you have collected (If you pay by check, please make it out to JBF Reno). This is MANDATORY, the State of Nevada is cracking down on this. Even if you didn't sell anything or are just handing out information, I still must receive tax return, filled out and signed. Please don't make me track you down.
