Welcome to Just Between Friends of Aurora!

We understand, kids grow fast. So we created a community event where families can sell all the things their kids have outgrown or are no longer using and also shop for what they need next.

Just Between Friends Aurora is Aurora’s Largest children’s and maternity consignment event!  This event happens twice a year! With an anticipated 300+ consignors and over 100,000 items for our March 2023 event, it is truly an event you have to see to believe!

We will have clothes for infants through teen sizes, shoes, baby equipment and gear, maternity items, feeding and bathing gear, bedding, room decor, outdoor and indoor toys, sports equipment, electronics, books, games, musical instruments and toys, baby and child furniture, strollers and so much more! If there is a mask mandate, masks will be required to enter and while you are shopping. No exceptions.

  • Q. Does everyone need their own ticket?
  • A. Yes, all adults must show their own ticket at the door. During Priority Shopping hours, we ask that all babies and young children be either worn or safely restrained in a stroller or wagon. Tickets are available for older children 12+ for Presale Priority Shopping hours. You may print your ticket or show it on your phone.
  • Q. Do I have to participate as a seller in order to be allowed to shop?
  • A. No, all are welcome to shop. We are open to the public.
  • Q. Are children allowed at the event?
  • A. Yes. During Presale Priority Shopping hours (Wed, March 22, 3pm-5pm), we ask that all babies and young children be either worn or safely restrained in a stroller or wagon for safety concerns. The sales floor is at capacity with merchandise. Tickets can be purchased for older children 12+ for Presale Priority Shopping Hours. Children are welcome without a ticket after 5pm on Wed, March 22 and on the Public Sale days Thursday- Sunday. Children must stay with a supervising adult at all times and refrain from riding and climbing on merchandise.
  • Q. What type of payment do you accept at the sale?
  • A. We prefer cash but gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Venmo, and PayPal. No checks please.

  • Q. Do you have shopping bags available?
  • A. Yes, we have bags to use during your shopping experience, however you are welcome to bring your own bags, laundry basket, wagon, etc. to carry items to your vehicle. We will not be providing bags to take your items home.
  • Q. Do you have bags available for me to take my stuff home?
  • A. We went bagless beginning in 2019. We will have a limited number of reusable JBF bags to purchase, but we do not provide plastic take-home bags. BYOB (Bring Your Own Bags!)
  • Q. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
  • A. You may either print your ticket or show it on your smart phone.
  • Q. What is the refund policy?
  • A. All sales are final.  We do not issue refunds and will not accept returns. Please ask staff to assist you when checking for game pieces, electronics, etc.
  • Q. Are masks required?
  • A. MAYBE. If masks are mandated by the state or county, we will require masks for all individuals (including mobile children - if you would would prefer your mobile kiddo not wear a mask, please bring a stroller). There will be no admittance without masks in this situation as we are guests at the Fairgrounds. We will NOT provide these at the door.
