The Juris Prudence Academy is a one of a kind legal educational program for kids ages 8-12 hosted in Washington, D.C. The Academy is held on a college campus and will allow your child to learn in a real college classroom! The 90 minute workshop will teach academy students basic legal principles in a collaborative setting.
The academy will be guided by a lawyer, and students will participate in a mock trial, applying the principles they have learned in the workshop. Mock trial topics are ones that will be interesting to children, such as the following:
-Should Kids Have the Right to Vote?
-Should Kids be Allowed to Drive at a Younger Age?
-Should School Recess Be Longer?
-Should Kids Have School on Saturdays?
