The 2nd annual JuniorMotoX will build on a fantastic inaugural event and continue to emphasize youth motocross racers with a maximum age of 18 and classes for most age levels.To keep things simple each race entry includes an additional event pass as well as practice day entry. The event will take place inside the Lazy E Arena and is designed to provide a safe Supercross style experience to young racers and provide them with the opportunity to grow and learn about the most visible form of off road racing. The challenging track, featuring some of the best dirt on earth will have many new features in 2017, The goal is to build on the feedback from the first year and make year two even more exciting. With input from the racers and families we will provide an event that will demonstrate respect for our industry partners and the racing families. There will be three days filled with great racing, education and relationship building. The Lazy E Arena provides a world class location with easy access from around the United States.

Although you aren't required to sign up or pay for camping when you do race registration you must do so prior to arrival at Lazy E for the event.
Gates to Lazy E will open at 10 am Wednesday May 10, 2017 for RV parking and registration check in. Gates will remain open until 9 pm Wednesday May 10, 2017 Practice will begin Thursday May 11, 2017. Gates will reopen at 7 am Friday May 12, 2017 for late arrivals. We encourage racers and families to arrive Thursday for check in.

Riders may enter a total of three (3) classes.
Age for Youth classes is based on the rider’s age on January 1, 2017. For all other classes, age is based on the rider’s actual age as of the day of the event. Proof of age must be available upon request by MX Sports at any time.
Riders under the age of 18 years must have a parent present or a duly notarized parental consent form, as required by the AMA Rules and Regulations, in order to participate. Minor Release and Waiver of Liability forms must be completed by minor participants and their parent/legal guardian at the event upon Rider Check-in/Registration.
Medical Insurance: Riders must have medical insurance coverage effective throughout the event in order to compete.
Riders must declare their race numbers upon registration. In the event of duplicate numbers in the same class, numbers will be assigned on a first-come basis.
Motorcycles may be ridden to/from the paddock and the starting area only. Riding in unauthorized areas is grounds for disqualification.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
In the classes shown below a racer can be no more than 18 years old and be the appropriate age for the class entered on the day the event starts (May 12, 2017). Proof of age will be required at event registration - must show proof to registration staff. Current AMA card required at check in.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There will be RV camping including hook ups as well as truck and trailer parking. There is a limited number of flat hook up positions available. They will be assigned based on the date you register. All hook up positions are paved.

What is the refund policy?
Prior to Event:
Riders may request a refund for their entire order (including entry fees, admission ) for any reason prior to the event. A $200.00 deposit will be forfeited for RV camping spots that are reserved and subsequently cancelled. The EventBrite convenience fee will not be refunded. Refund requests must be made by email no later than March 1, 2017.

Racers may withdraw at the event only if they feel they cannot safely maneuver the race course. In such a case the withdrawal will be for all classes entered and must be made prior to any racing (practice excluded). Refunds will be issued for 50% of the race entry fee only. Admission, camping fees and EventBrite convenience fee will not be refunded.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
