About this event
On Saturday June 18, 2022, The Juneteenth Foundation in partnership with CYEP will host a Father’s Day Reception at the National Museum of African American History and Culture to celebrate the important role that fathers play in the home and also in the local community. Come celebrate Father’s Day as we will be honoring the “Father of Year” for his outstanding commitment to his family and community. Attendees will enjoy heavy Hors D’ Oeuvres, open bar, and have private access to the museum to view all the exhibits.
We are very pleased to announce that the 11 time Grammy winning gospel artist Ty Tribett will be performing at this year’s event and we have a few other nationally recognized guests who will be attending so stay tuned for more information. Proceeds from this event will go to provide scholarships to students attending HBCU’s and will provide program support for the award winning Father’s in Tech program which provides opportunities for local dads to be more involved in the lives of their children.
