Please join the Salem Art Association for the official ribbon cutting ceremony for our new Waldo Bogle Gallery in the Bush House Museum. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with refreshments and will include special remarks by painter Jeremy Okai Davis as well as sculptors Santigie and Sapata Fofana-Dura, whose exhibition The Key and The Towers is currently on display in the Gallery.
After remarks by the artists downstairs in the Music Room, guests will move upstairs to the Waldo Bogle Gallery for the ribbon cutting ceremony and unveiling of two new portraits by Jeremy, which are part of his series of portraits of early Black Oregonians commissioned by the Salem Art Association.
