THE JUNEBUG BOYS Old time string band music from Hood River, Oregon! The Junebug Boys pick and sing their way through a wide variety of American string band music amidst the most spectacular Columbia River Gorge views! Touching upon Bluegrass, Old Time, Country, Swing and Jug Band Music these veterans of many local and touring bands, The Junebug Boys are at home at a concert hall, house concert, educational performance, festival, wedding or pub gig. Aaron Keim plays banjo and banjo ukulele, informing our performances with historical context and old time credentials. Ryan Kolberg adds a strong foundation on upright bass and incorporates a more modern feel to the bottom end. Larry Wyatt brings a strong bluegrass and country guitar and vocal to the group and is a long time public school teacher. Kerry Williams’ virtuoso mandolin playing draws from many influences, including swing and celtic music.
