About The Practitioners

Esther head shot

Esther Wang is a New York City-based community organizer, communications strategist, and writer. She has worked at CAAAV Organizing Asian Communities, where she was the Director of the Chinatown Tenants Union, and at the Center for Constitutional Rights in the Communications Department. Currently, she is part of the digital strategy team at Caring Across Generations,  as the Online Community Coordinator. Esther is also an Open City Creative Non-Fiction Fellow with the Asian American Writers Workshop.

Facilitator and trainer Alison Roh Park has worked as a communications strategist for social justice organizations operating on a local to international scale, including on groundbreaking litigation on NYPD stops-and-frisks and racial discrimination in the FDNY, and torture under the Bush administration. Alison has appeared on Univision and Telemundo and has been quoted in national and international media on issues of international human rights, gender justice, and institutional racism. 


Our webinars are ninety (90) minute sessions, that provide participants access to communications expertise and support. Through hands on learning with tips and tools, case studies, question and answer periods with experts, our webinars will help you build specific skills and integrate effective communications practices into your work.
