TOWN HALL CONFERENCE CALL

Dr. Victoria Werth, M.D., Associate Professor at the University of Pennsylvania and Chair of the IPPF Medical Advisory Baord, will be joining the IPPF for a Town Hall Conference Call on June 26, 2012 at 5:00 pm Pacific Time / 8:00 pm Eastern Time. Dr. Werth's clinical specialties include autoimmune blistering and connective diseases and the prevention of side effects of systemic glucocorticoids. Her research includes the immonopathogenesis and treatment of autoimmune blistering diseases and photoaging. She has been the chief invesigator and researcher in numerous clinical trials and is currently involved in ongoing studies including systematic studies of cutaneous lupus, dermatomyositis, and pemphigus.
Join the IPPF on June 26th to listen to Dr. Werth speak about pemphigus and pemphigoid - and ask her your own questions! Please remember that she cannot give specific medical advice, but she can definitely help get you to ask your doctor the right questions or provide them with some added insight.

Instructions and the call in number/PIN will be provided via email on or about June 25, 2012.
Attendees will call in from their own phone (landline, cellphone, etc). Attendees will be provided the access phone number and PIN in advance.
Callers will provide their name, as requested, before entering the conference.
Callers will be initially be placed on MUTE to keep noise to a minimum. A representative from the IPPF will open the meeting after which Dr. Werth will begin her presentation. When it is time for questions from attendees, instructions will be provided on how to be placed in the Question Queue by "rasing their hand" (a code to enter your phone that will be given to you during the meeting).
Callers will be allowed to ask their question in the order they "raise their hand". Callers will be allowed one main question and one follow up question depending on the number of attendees and the size of the Question Queue.
