What is VA Ready?

VA Ready is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that offers support and resources to all Virginia residents who participate in one of the 34 different in-demand, affordable credential programs offered through the FastForward program within the Virginia Community College System. These credentials are valuable in today's job market and can lead to rewarding careers in the Healthcare, IT/Technology, and Manufacturing/Skilled Trades industries.

• $1,000 Credential Achievement Award given to ALL participants upon earning your credential
• Exclusive workshops, career fairs, and career-readiness resources with our network of Business Partners
• Access the the VA Ready Job Opportunities Board, designed to connect VA Ready Scholars directly with careers from our Business Partners

This free, online event is available to anyone interested in becoming a VA Ready Scholar. You will hear from both the VA Ready team as well as representatives from the FastForward program on how to get easy access to valuable tuition assistance.

This event is presented by Virginia Ready Career Works - Alexandria/Arlington Region, who will also be speaking on other career support services available for those that are interested.
