Description

Finish off Jumpstart January the right way. Join your fellow SFS Hoyas to practice your pitch, expand your network, and enjoy drinks and appetizers.

Meroe Park (BSFS '89) recently joined the Partnership for Public Service as the Executive Vice President, where she will be responsible for driving programs that support an effective and efficient Federal Government. Prior to her position at the Partnership, Ms. Park had a 27- year career in intelligence. She has held one of our government’s leading executive positions as the Executive Director for the CIA.

She twice was the recipient of the Presidential Rank Award, the Executive Branch’s highest honor for career professionals. She also received CIA’s Distinguished Intelligence Medal, the Agency’s most prestigious recognition, for her leadership as the Executive Director.

Ms. Park was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, where her father taught physics at the University of Oregon. Her father was a first-generation American who fled war-torn Korea in the 1950s, earned his PhD from UC Berkley, and was a role model of hard work, resilience, and integrity—traits that Ms. Park admires and carries with her to this day.

She joined the Board of Directors for Butterfield Bank in October 2017, and lives in Virginia with her husband of 22 years and their two children.

Networking Reception only open to Georgetown Graduate School of Foreign service students and alumni. Professional attire is required.
