Description

Eligibility for access to classified information, commonly known as a security clearance, is granted only to those for whom an appropriate personnel security background investigation has been completed. Come to this session to learn more about the background process, the different types of clearances issued, and the kinds of jobs that require one. Note: U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.


This event is only open to Gerogetown students and alumni. Professional attire is required. Graduate School of Foreign Service students must RSVP through WalshWorks.
