JUMPING INTO PHOTOGRAPHY: Photography Class by Curt Fukuda

March 8, 15, 29 | Saturday afternoons, 1 - 5:00pm

This three-session class will acquaint you with the basics of photography so you can take better pictures. You will learn about the controls on your camera (or smart phone) and how they affect your images. The class clarifies how light and subject determine what settings you use to provide the best results. The class also covers what to do after you’ve taken your photos. We’ll discuss downloading images to a computer, and then, organizing, archiving, and sharing your photos. You’ll learn about using software like Photoshop and Light room to adjust the color and exposure of your images. During this second session, you will get hands-on experience at a computer. Participants should bring their camera to class. Although designed for beginners, this class is a good refresher for intermediate photographers, too.
