Description

Play is crucial to development, to happiness, to empathy, to creativity, to connectedness, to reducing stress, oh and it is just fun. So come play with us in this Superhero Showdown inspired day camp. Activities involve: superhero costume making and superhero slogan videos, comic book coloring creativity and choreographed fight scenes culminating in a mini action film screening, along with a delicious snack and lunch made by our little superheroes. There will also be much explorative and creative play time throughout the day in our unique spaces like the nest, deep tinker, taste buds, showtime, flutter foot and the slide zone. Ages 10-14.

When: Wednesday, June 27th from 9 AM to 4 PM. Also check out the July 25th Superhero Showdown camp.

Where: We’ll meet at the couches in the JUMP lobby and then go from there.

Cost: $50. Includes all supplies, lunch and snacks. JUMP will provide food and we will collectively make our own lunch/snacks to learn healthy habits and get culinarily creative! A variety of food to make sandwiches and wraps will be available so kids can build meals that accommodate their dietary restrictions, but please feel free to reach out to programs@jumpboise.org with any further questions.

What is your passion?

"I am passionate about new experiences. Opportunities that force us out of our comfort zone allow us to recognize and explore aspects of ourselves we might not have previously realized. This is why I adore travel and adventure; along with other places and cultures I am also getting to know myself, my fears, insecurities, and resilience through the exploration of the new and unknown."
