Sandra’s presentation will focus on how and why UCSF chose design-build delivery; how performance specifications were utilized as bridging documents; how the mechanics of the UCSF “best value” selection process applied to this project; how competition was built into the process; and how UCSF utilizes principles of Lean Construction in their projects. Finally, her presentation will identify the future UCSF projects that are in the planning cycle and the timing for their delivery.
