For our Millennium Mix: The 2000s edition, we asked ourselves how one might celebrate the narrow avoidance of a Y2K disaster? The answer: by turning up the volume! The music of the first decade of the millennium included some crossover 90's trends with its love of boy bands, teen pop, and emo culture, but it also upped the game on Contemporary R&B, and so much more. So let it be known: when the 90s went home, the 2000s knew how to keep the party going!
