The Juneteenth Jubilee in Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard will feature iconic trailblazers including Pulitzer Winning #1 NYT Bestselling journalist Nikole Hannah Jones, acclaimed international actress Lynn Whitfield and Multi-Grammy Nominated jazz pianist and composer Christian Sands. We will also feature new voices of the diaspora including Grace Gibson, Founder of Rock Noir, alongside cutting-edge culinary entrepreneur and chef Ismail Samad. Local musicians and island favorites Siren Mayhew and Sean McMahon will also perform. There will be a special panel featuring from the President, NAACP of Martha's Vineyard and Co-Founder of the MV African American Heritage Trail and the President of the Martha's Vineyard Campground Meeting Association. The main festival will be held on Saturday at The Tabernacle, a historic open-air covered landmark with charming surrounding and excellent acoustics. The entire weekend will be full of various venues around the town. Sponsored by Inkwell Haven LLC and the MV Campground Meetings Association (MVCMA). All proceeds for tickets, sponsorships or donations will go to the Haven Charitable Foundation founded to support culture, art and artists residency on the island to fortify a long tradition of creativity, innovation and inclusion.
