JTA Amazing AGM & Training Day

We are delighted to welcome two guest teachers for the day:
Tracey Gibbs is an experienced teacher with her own approach to teaching dance. Based in Manchester, she has hosted many international teachers and taught herself at most major UK festivals. She has strong link with Egypt and an extensive knowledge of music and dance. These sessions will give you food for thought and ideas to take away.
Elspeth Alexander is a fully qualified practitioner of Holistic Core Restore. She is passionate about her subject and inspirational in how she applies it to bellydance. Elspeth teaches regular bellydance classes in Edinburgh.

Choosing music with Tracey Gibbs
Choosing the right music to teach the moves and inspire your students, encouraging them to seek more about the music and cultures
10.45 – 12.45
Holistic Core Restore with Elspeth Alexander
Elspeth looks at the principles behind Holistic Core Restore and how this applies to everyday life the applies it to bellydance. This will not only inform how you teach bellydance but potentially help you and your students in life too.

Bring back Beginners with Tracey Gibbs
Engaging beginners in the ever competitive market of fitness and dance class scene. Making it fun and action aerobic packed whilst not loosing the technique
Venue: Dance City is a purpose built building with fabulous facilities and lovely studios. A great place to host this annual training day.
Logistics: If you are attending the 9.15am session and are travelling from further afield, you might want to come the day before. You may want to make a weekend of it and explore Newcastle on the Sunday. It is a fabulous and vibrant city with museums, restaurants and bars.
Cost: From 9.15 am - £30
Join us from the 10.30am session: £25
