Jr. Robotics Camp
Mon, Jul 10, 2017, 1:00 PM – Fri, Jul 14, 2017, 4:00 PM PDT
In this introductory robotics summer camp, campers will be exposed to the ever growing world of robotics. Each student will build their own robot using the Vex IQ kit. Students will build a simplified version of the basic robot and learn about some of the basic concepts and ideas relating to robotics. Throughout the week each student’s robot will be modified to complete challenges or games. Additionally, students will learn how to program their robots using a block-based programming language. This block-based programming language will allow students to easily add sensors to their robot; which will allow your robot to make decisions based off of the world around it.
This camp for ages 7 to 9. This camp meets for three hours a day, Monday through Friday from 1 pm to 4 pm.
