Use your entire body in a form of contemporary theatrical dance developed to express abstract ideas and inner most feelings. The polar opposite of ballet’s structured technique, Modern Dance allows for the invention of steps that deliberately use basic human movement as well as gravity and body weight as the foundation of the dance. Steps can be long and fluid or sharp and jagged to express the range of human emotions through movement.
