An immersive semiformal brunch set in the fictional West African nation of Wakanda benefitting Twin Cities youth.

For nearly 10 years, Rebound, Inc. has worked to reduce the over-representation of Black youth in the Twin Cities’ juvenile justice system and child welfare systems; providing transformative opportunities targeted to move these young people away from systems involvement and toward their full potential.

This year’s gala will benefit our programs and one special opportunity, our “Sankofa Journey,” during which Rebound will take seven youth and young adults to Ghana, West Africa.

Guests are invited to dress in cultural attire while they enjoy:

• Delicious themed food and cocktails

• Live entertainment

• Dancing to afro beats

• A youth technology corner

• “Marketplace”

• Silent and live auctions

• A youth art gallery
