Event description
Learn about the plight of Central American migrants in our times through participating in the Journey to a New Home Migration Simulation.

About this Event

Come with us on a journey from the Northern Triangle of Central America to the United States. Learn the reasons people are coming, the dangers they face on their journey and the devastating lack of welcome that asylum seekers receive once they arrive in the U.S. Be challenged to think and pray on how we can become the people of welcome that the Bible and our international agreements require us to be.

Facilitated by Amanda Craft, Manager of Advocacy, and Teresa Waggener, Immigration Attorney, Office of Immigration Issues, Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)

Sponsored by Cary Presbyterian Church, Christ the King Lutheran Church, and The Kirk of Kildaire Presbyterian Church
