Session breakdown from Porscha

July 9 - Bullet Journaling

Bullet journaling is one of the newest journaling techniques known to provide a 'free form' method of organization and can be applied to list making, keeping a planner/calendar as well as list keeping. I will be focusing on how to use this format to come up with a customized way to organize thoughts and ideas to create a lasting journaling practice.

July 23- Gratitude Journaling

Made popular by Oprah and utilized by celebrities and everyday people a like, this method of journaling focuses on the act of being grateful and mindful as a springboard and perspective for writing both about challenges and successes.

August 13 - Morning Pages

This method of journaling is was created by Julia Cameron in her book 'The Artist Way' the goal of morning pages is to write three handwritten pages without editing or correcting . This method is a free writing technique that is structured to get the words and emotions flowing.

August 27 - Image Inspired Journaling

This method revolves around using images to draw inspiration and create topics to journal about. This method is especially effective for visual learners. I will share a wealth of resources for where to find photo prompts that are updated regularly for those who choose to maintain this style of journaling

September 10 - Music Inspired Journaling

This method uses music and sound to inspire and prompt us about what to write in our journals. I will include resources on where to find new and interesting music and sounds to inspire journaling for those who choose to maintain this style of journaling.

September 24- Mood Journaling (Victories and Vices)

This method of journaling supports deep introspection and gives us a well of emotions and experiences to draw from for our journaling practice. We will use the seven deadly sins and the seven virtues as prompts this week.
