About this event
Sap House Meadery is honored to host Jose Lezcano. Tickets are $55 and include a fixed menu dinner that is themed around his Cuban and Latin-American style.
Doors open at 5:30PM for a "Mead & Mingle" with an opportunity to explore the Meadery, sample award-winning meads and mingle with other guests.
Dinner is served at 6:00PM in the Pub. It is a three course, fixed-menu dinner themed around the music. All dietary needs can be accommodated and the menu is detailed below.
Show is 7:00 to 8:00PM with a meet and greet immediately following.
Jose also plays original Latin-flavored compositions, and has composed four concertos for guitar, both solo and in duo combinations with orchestra accompaniment. He has premiered his works with professional orchestras in New York City, Ecuador, Peru, Cuba, Colombia, and New Hampshire.
"Jose Lezcano ... is a superb guitarist as well as a first-rate composer and arranger." --New Millennium Guitar Described by Fanfare Magazine as "an excellent guitarist as well as an imaginative composer," Jose has earned numerous professional recognitions, including two Grammy nominations, the NH State Council on the Arts Individual Artist Fellowship, twice NHMTA Composer of the Year, and a Fulbright Award to Ecuador where he performed as orchestral soloist and pursued research on indigenous guitar traditions. He premiered his second guitar concerto, "Concierto Cubanero," in 2011 in New York City and in Quito, Ecuador. In 2012, Jose's "Tango-Overture" for strings, conducted by Max Lifchitz, received its debut recording on the North-South label as Cross-Currents.
The Menu for the evening will be themed around Jose's music. The final menu will be updated in early January. All dietary needs can be accommodated, please give us a call at 603-539-1672 to discuss or ask any questions.
