It's that time of year again! The City of Jonesboro will be holding our annual Christmas Parade and Festival on December 3, 2016 beginning at 5 pm. You are invited to participate in the the Christmas Parade. There are no entry fees for units that want to participate. We would like for all businesses, churches, schools, individuals, and any other organizations to be involved in our parade this year. The parade will start on Stockbridge Road (Jonesboro Middle School), travel north on Stockbridge Road then will make a left turn on South McDonough Street. From there it will continue south to College Street and then take a right across the railroad tracks and then make a right on Main Street. The parade will continue North on Main Street then will make a left on Spring Street and end at Lee Street and the driveway to the Perry Learning Center. Drop off parking will be at Spring Street and Dean Street. We are hoping that everyone will gather for the Festival afterwards at Lee Street Park. The festival will include music, food & fun for all to enjoy.
Santa Clause will be taking the children’s Christmas lists and handing out goodie bags to all the girls and boys. So make sure you bring your camera. There will be several vendors on sight. We will end the night with the lighting of our Christmas Tree.
