Anyone who has ever been invited backstage after a concert knows how the sharing of a bottle of wine can enhance the spirit of camaraderie and celebration. It's this spirit that inspired Jonathan Cain of the rock band JOURNEY to create his very special Finale wines. Jonathan invites you "backstage" to share his wines with him over a three course dinner. Each course will pair with one of Jonathan's Finale wines, and there will be a few extra selections to taste as well. Throughout the evening, Jonathan will personally meet each guest, give his notes on each of the wines, and perform a few Journey hits. The dinner takes place at Michael Morton's CRUSH inside MGM Grand Hotel, with a menu prepared by Chef William "Billy" Demarco.
Jonathan Cain is the hit songwriter, keyboard player and member of the rock band Journey. He has receieved two BMI Songwriter awards for Journey's "Open Arms" and "Who's Crying Now" , and was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1997 for the Journey song he co-wrote "When You Love a Woman", which he wrote with Journey bandmates Neal Schon and Steve Perry. Perhaps his most notable contribution was as sole author of the classic Journey ballad "Faithfully".
