You're invited to come help the A. Roy Heron Global Foundation celebrate its best days, those still ahead. We are pleased to have launched our first very community initiative in partnership with the Alexandria City Public Schools. The initiative entitled Fun & Fitness, is in its pilot stages, where we have enrolled 10 students who have extremely dangerous BMI's in the 95th percentile or higher. Those students will complete a robust nutritional and wellness regime that will help them achieve their goal BMI and weight. Childhood obesity leads to critical health, academic and psychological challenges. We invite you to come help us stand on the front lines and defeat this epidemic. Your support enables us to take this initiative from its pilot stages to the homes of more students around the DMV area. This is our 1st Annual Holiday Celebration, where we plan to dance the night away in knowing that we are gearing up to touch the lives of countless children. So join us in the fight, have a drink, shop our silent auction and enjoy some great bites while we celebrate our best days.....those still ahead.

A Roy Heron Global Foundation for Community Wellness
A. Roy Heron Global Foundation for Community Wellness, a non-profit public charity strives to provide valuable insight on poor health and the lack of good nutrition across the globe. The foundation was founded to aide in the combat of childhood obesity. We deploy award winning and highly innovative, research based programs to assist in our mission.
The foundation’s core goal is to develop healthier generations through education, community involvement, and research based programming.
We serve a diverse population of youth from 6 to 10 years of age. We value the central idea that the health of youth impacts their overall wellbeing and future success. We are action and results driven, changing the lives of communities one youth at a time.
