ABOUT YOUR PRODUCERS AND COMICS
NICOLE CALASICH is a Bolivian-American comedian, producer, and generally a winner. Based in San Francisco, she performs regularly at major clubs and intimate rooms including the SF Punchline, Cobb’s, and Doc’s Lab. Her humor is big words smartcool and her penchant for incisive audience rapport is the dumbest. She performs all over the country and has opened for Dan Cummins, Ali Wong, Adam Newman, and features for Iliza Shlesinger. When her Twitter account is not being featured on Comedy Central, she produces four monthly shows in the Bay Area: Attractive Camp, Brave New Jokes, Jokelandish and Resistance is Futile. These are top-drawer comedy events, sure, but are also humble offerings to the great and powerful Xenu. Nicole is available for bookings until Tom Cruise says otherwise.
CHAD OPITZ: Fresh to the San Francisco Comedy scene, Chad Opitz is a comic whose unique takes on sometimes odd subject matters are making him an oft booked staple at Bay Area clubs and showcases. Chad was the winner of Bay Area legend Jimmy Gunn's "Best Newcomer" award as well as a finalist in the Rooster T. Feathers Competition, 2nd place finalist at the 2016 Sacramento Comedy Competition and 1st place winner of the Walk the Plank comedy competition, beating out 100 comics for the top prize. Veering between one-liners and short story jokes, Opitz' writing is as well-regarded as his character and performance work.
EMILY EPSTEIN WHITE: Comedian, storyteller, and writer Emily Epstein White has been trapped in a self-cleaning toilet, has stitches from a treadmill accident, and once hung off the front of a truck like a hood ornament for half an avenue to avoid being run over. She performs all around New York City, the Northeast, San Francisco and the Bay area, and the West Coast, (not to mention a boat in the middle of the Yangtze River in China). She has been featured in many festivals and publications such as the New York Underground Comedy Festival, the 360 Comedy Festival, LAFF in Austin, TX, the She-Devil Comedy Festival, the Boston Globe, gawker.com, and has won and hosted the San Francisco MothSlam.
LIZ STONE is a corporate attorney who spent one too many weekends in the office and nearly hung herself on a rope fashioned from financial documents. Fortunately Liz discovered stand up comedy as a balance to the corporate grind and has been entertaining audiences with her unique perspective ever since. She performs all over the Bay Area, in small towns throughout America, and was voted one of “America’s Funniest Lawyers”. VINCENT CHUANG is an up and coming comedian in the bay area and has performed at Cobb's Comedy Club and the Punchline. Vince's dry comedy is sure to get people laughing, and if not, let him know and he's sure to try harder next time.
JUAN MEDINA is one of the most highly visible, and occasionally loudest, standup comedians working in the Bay Area. His comedy has a remarkably broad range, from apoplectic yelling to cerebral, complex riffing delivered with the aplomb of someone who had been rehearsing the words for hours. He is a puzzle box with as many soft edges as sharp ones, and despite all of his unpredictability (or maybe because of it), his act is consistently engrossing. Juan is hard to summarize, but easy to describe: funny. Juan is the president of the Bay Area production company True Hustle Entertainment, runs his own weekly show (The PM Show with Juan Medina), and has performed at independent showcases and major clubs across California.
