Joint Biomedical Engineering Student Design Symposium

On April 18th at the McKimmon Conference and Training Center, the Joint Biomedical Engineering Student Design Symposium will feature poster and oral presentations covering the medical devices designed by the Biomedical Engineering senior design students from North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. These novel devices involve a wide array of topics that include but are not limited to: Implantable therapies for glioblastoma resection margins, pelvic organ prolapse pessary fitment devices, storage methods to improve blood transportation in military settings, kidney transplant organ preservation, and EKG electrodes that eliminate skin damage in neonates.
