In and effort to eradicate violence against women, the Inter-American Commission of Women (CIM) invites you to join the Wear Red for Women Campaign (wear red shoes, a tie, scarf, or any red item) and attend a gathering on May 2nd at 9:30 am at the Hall of the Americas, OAS Main Building (17th Street and Constitution Ave, NW Washington, DC 20006).
The event will consist of a video presentation on violence against women and brief interventions from the OAS Secretary General, José Miguel Insulza, some OAS Permanent Mission Representatives and Permanent Observers.
Snacks and coffee will be served during the session. Photos will be taken and posted on our flickr account.
