One night. 30 chefs. 30 farms. 5 Local Breweries. 5 Local Wineries. 5 Craft Beverages from local mixologists.
Chefs from the Baltimore region’s hottest restaurants like La Cuchara, Food Market AND Food Marketa, the latest Donna Crivello masterpiece, Cosima, vanguard newcomers Minnow and Ida B's, and caterers, Chef’s Expressions and Copper Kitchen, will pair with Charlottetown Farm, Grand View Farm, One Straw Farm, Catoctin Mountain, aquaculture farmers, Hollywood Oyster and more to create delectable dishes for your tasting pleasure, using only the freshest of ingredients, highlighting the fall’s harvest. Enjoy some of the region’s top winemakers, craft brewers and distilleries all under one roof at the historic B&O Railroad Museum.
Join Mixolo’s "Do good Food(ies)" event within the can't miss event of the year, Farm to Chef's Maryland unparalleled harvest-to table experience where Maryland’s top chefs and local farmers team up to create amazing culinary dishes for the benefit of Days of Taste, the flagship program for TasteWise Kids, endorsed by cooking legend Julia Child.
TasteWise Kids inspires kids to explore and experience the world of food and its sources. Their Days of Taste program introduces 4th graders to the origins of fresh food and the farm-to-table journey through hands-on programming with chefs, farmers and other food experts.
Dishes will be judged by an official panel of judges for taste and creativity in three categories: sweet, savory and vegetarian. Members of the Baltimore Bartenders Guild will compete for the best craft beverage or cocktail of the night. We’ll all be judges for the “People’s Choice” awards.
You won't want to miss Farm to Chef Maryland’s raffle to include culinary classes, fine wine and other one-of-a-kind dining events. A silent auction will be held for a private six-course dinner prepared by six of the Farm to Chef chefs.
We'll interact with the proprietors of local food vendors, including Michele’s Granola, and sample their products in our Small Vendor Fair.
