Event description

Description

Join forces with us on October 31st, 2-5pm, in WeWork (Waterhouse Square) to help transform the mental and emotional health of women and girls.

We are excited to be bringing together people from tech, mental health, social innovation, research, business, and the creative arts, who share the drive to create and support scalable tech solutions for mental health.

At this event, we will be discussing key drivers of mental health, including workplace, health literacy, sense of purpose, social connectedness, diet & exercise, money & finance, emotion, physical spaces/nature, and sleep, as well as technological solutions, including blockchain and virtual reality.

This event will:

  • stimulate conversations and ideas that can be turned into real life solutions and businesses to help transform the mental and emotional health of women and girls;

  • help you to build a network of connections with people who share the drive to tackle this mission, cutting across sectors, industries, and geographies.

More about Zinc:

Zinc is on a six-month mission to transform the mental and emotional health of women and girls. So far, we have:

1. Selected 54 talented people to join our programme full-time to build new businesses that tackle women and girls’ mental and emotional health issues (see https://www.zinc.vc/mission1/);

2. Identified 15 world-leading ‘Fellows’ (in mental health, medicine, digital health, tech, and business), who have agreed to support our mission by dedicating their time, opening up their networks, and helping us shape the programme, including: Celia Romaniuk (Fjord), Cynthia Joyce (MQ), Denzyl Feigelson (Platoon), Gregor Henderson (Public Health England), Iain Jordan (Oxford Uni Hospitals), Jess Butcher (Blippar), Peter Robinson (Cambridge University), Tim Davey (One Fine Stay).

3. Developed a fresh approach to exploring mental health solutions, in collaboration with a broad network of experts and in consultation with users.

Read more below about our mission.

We look forward to seeing you there!
