Event Details

The Anti-Defamation League has a longstanding commitment to protecting civil rights, and has been a key partner in advancing Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) rights. At the federal, state, and local levels, ADL has advocated in support of anti-discrimination statutes, for strong and inclusive hate crime and bullying prevention laws, and for marriage equality. This year ADL and our partners at the Israeli Consulate will take our work to the streets and march in Chicago's Annual Pride Parade.

Join us on July 25 at 11 AM for an afternoon of fun. We will update this page when a meeting location has been sent out by the parade marshals. Generally, we meet on North Broadway, between Wilson and Sunnyside Avenue. This is very close to the Wilson "L" stop.

Please bring a water bottle and sunscreen! It will be hot, and while we will have a float, most attendees will walk.

ADL Chicago

For more than 100 years, the Anti-Defamation League has been committed to “stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all.”  How does that manifest today?

The ADL has the courage to speak out, even when we stand alone, in the face of discrimination directed at people of any color or creed. We bring anti-bias and bullying prevention education to more than one million students a year nationwide. We are the largest trainer of law enforcement officers on bias and hate crimes outside of the U.S. government. We fight for the right to live, love, pray, speak and vote however you like.

The Greater Chicago/Upper Midwest Region is led by Regional Director Lonnie Nasatir, 16 professional staff and a board of more than 200 committed volunteers, and provides support to Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and North and South Dakota.
