Jon Hassell collaborator John von Seggern will bring an immersive audiovisual experience to the Auditorium to celebrate the release of his solo album Ambient Bass Guitar on June 9th.

Feel the bass waves gently vibrate every cell as you enter a deeper state of contemplation and relaxation. Please bring yoga mats and blankets to lie down and enjoy the full experience. Video projections by Steve Nalepa and Branden Sahagun.

Join us for a pre-show reception in the courtyard at 7:00 PM, followed by the concert at 8:00!

John von Seggern is a virtuosic bassist, electronic music producer and sonic alchemist. He has played bass guitar at venues around the world with major international pop artists, DJed techno across Asia and US, and contributed sound design and effects for the Oscar-winning Pixar feature Wall-E and other films.

From 2014-2020 he worked closely with legendary electronic music pioneer Jon Hassell, culminating in the release of two acclaimed albums: Listening to Pictures (2018) and Seeing Through Sound (2020). His debut solo album Ambient Bass Guitar will be released on June 9th 2023.

Suggested Donation: $15 general / $10 students (in-person event only)


All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges for PRS events, except in the event of a medical emergency, including but not limited to a positive COVID-19 test.

In the event that PRS is forced to cancel an event entirely, tickets will be refunded or vouchers offered for a rescheduled event.

* There is no smoking permitted on PRS grounds.

* We strongly encourage guests to wear masks to PRS events to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
