About this event

In present day Appalachian Georgia, a high school class explores the seminal American classic, The Crucible. As scandal swirls in their community and old heroes are unmasked, the English assignment becomes uncomfortably relevant for the students. The line between witch and heroine blurs in this post-Me Too examination of power, love, and sex education.

John Proctor Is the Villain was developed at the Ojai Playwrights Conference: Robert Egan, Artistic Director/Producer.

Produced by special arrangement with and all authorized performance materials supplied by WILLIAM MORRIS ENDEAVOR ENTERTAINMENT, LLC

Please note the following about the performance and our theater's current policies:

We remain steadfastly mask friendly, no questions, no judgement. Please note, some actors may choose to remain masked according to their own comfort level.
