Nutrition and fitness consultant John Pierre has trained hard-core athletes, Hollywood celebrities, rock-stars, and Fortune 500 executives. Assisting a wide range of clientele and people of all backgrounds and fitness levels, John’s passion is to help everyone. John Pierre was recently inducted into the North American Vegetarian Society Hall of fame, and continues to contribute widely to publications and speaking events in the area of health and fitness. John is the author of several books, including: The Pillars of Health, and Strong, Savvy, Safe and has starred in numerous health-promoting DVD’s and online programs that reach countless individuals all over the world.

Your retreat experience will include teachings and experiences on the topics of

This is a small group size retreat experience - a chance for you to interact closely with John and other participants to discover your personal path to wellness.

We seek to meet you where you are on your individual journey from a place of non-judgement. We want to help build bridges, rather than walls. The more we can empower you and help you step into alignment with yourself, the more it will create a ripple effect that has the potential to reach your community and spread to the whole world.

Regular Retreat Price - $695 per person

All proceeds from this event will be donated to John's charity, Living with Harmony. www.livingwithharmony.org

You may choose to extend your retreat experience for an additional cost of $75 per night for Thursday or Monday night. Meals are available on campus in the dining hall for a small fee. If you would like to extend your stay please email us directly for registration information.

We have included an Initial Payment option; you may pay $300 to reserve your spot, with the remainder due by December 31, 2018.

You may buy your ticket(s) through eventbrite, (unfortunately that will include any fees they charge). We also accept checks, which then saves you money, as well as it keeps more proceeds going to Living with Harmony. FAQ's

What are the room accommodations?
The Lodging is located next to the Conference center.
Sleeping rooms include:
- Two twin beds
- Private bathroom with shower - A dresser and desk - Towels and bedding (Guest will need to bring their own toiletries and hair dryer. Courtesy ones are available
at the Front Desk should a guest forget these items) - Free WIFI - Access to the Conference Center Living Room, to read, relax and converse. The Conference Center Living room also houses two computers and printers as well as a 24-hour, complimentary beverage bar, which has coffee, teas, soda and water available for guests.

I am coming alone, will you assign me a roommate or can I room alone? You may absolutely room alone and we encourage it! We strongly encourage it to allow time for rest, introspection, journaling or reflecting. This is your time, your journey to wellness.

If you prefer to share a room that is definitely ok too. Please let us know the name of the person you are rooming with. The cost per person to attend is 595.00 whether sharing a room or not.

What will the meals be like? Can I bring my own food?
Meals provided during the event will provide selections that are whole food, plant based, sugar, oil and salt free to compliment the lifestyle that John Pierre suggests. Please email us with any dietary concerns or questions you may have.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Free parking at the event space is available.

How far are you from the airport? How do I get there? Campus Information
The University of St. Mary of the Lake is located at 1000 E. Maple Avenue in the town of Mundelein, IL approximately four miles west of Interstate 94. The closest airport is O’Hare International Airport, which is about 28 miles south of USML.

HEADING NORTH ON INTERSTATE 94 To reach the seminary from Interstate 94, take the Hwy 176 exit and turn right at the foot of the ramp to head west (the ramp loops around). Go approximately 4 miles. Soon after passing Marytown on your right, you will see the signs for the University, which will also be on your right.

HEADING SOUTH ON INTERSTATE 94 To reach the seminary from Interstate 94, take the Hwy 137 exit and turn right. Go approximately 3 miles and turn left onto Hwy 21. Go approximately 2 miles and turn right onto Hwy 176. After approximately 2 miles, you will see Marytown on your right. Soon afterwards, you will see the signs for the University on your right.

Are there any facility restrictions?
Yes, for the safety of all guests, University of St Mary of the Lake does not allow weapons, alcohol, pets, use of the lake, or exploring the forest, unpaved, or areas marked as private or resident. The facilities of the conference center and lodging are smoke free.

What's the refund policy? Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Registration is final - no refunds will be available. If the need to cancel arises, you may notify us, via email, to transfer your registration to a friend or family member.
