John Floyd and Floyd's Fork: Lecture, Hike and Canoe Trip in Floyd's Fork

Join us for an afternoon of fun in Floyd’s Fork! We will begin with a lecture by Bob Hill on the history and culture of Floyd’s Fork. After the lecture, attendees will have the option to go on a guided hike around the area OR a guided canoe trip down the river.
NOTE: the canoe trip portion has been canceled due to low water levels
Bob Hill has written books on topics as varied as crime mysteries, basketball, and gardening. He and his wife live in Utica, Indiana where they own and operate Hidden Hill Nursery.
The lecture is free for members, $5 for non-members. The hike is $5 for members, $10 for non-members. The lecture will begin at 12:30 p.m. at Fishersville Baptist Church, 14910 Taylorsville Road. The hike and canoe trips will begin at 1:30. For directions, please call The Filson.
