New York, NY
A rising star of the Brooklyn music scene, Joey Weisenberg pays homage to his roots. His ensemble puts a new spin on nigunim – Jewish melodies, prayers and chants that are by turns haunting and ecstatic – organically blending Balkan, soul, bluegrass, and other musical traditions.
