About the artists
Joe Brack and Teddy Goldstein have been friends since the late 90's, where they met in the vibrant downtown NYC music scene. Since then Joe & Teddy have shared stages and collaborated on many projects, including being 2/3 of the musical trio, The Acoustic Boys, along with their friend Steve Tannen of The Weepies. They, have twice now challenged the well-known group, The Acoustic Girls, and lost both times.
Joe Brack is a New York City-based, singer, songwriter, and musician. His melodic, lyric-driven blend of Americana and Rock hails from the likes of Tom Petty, The Beatles, Shawn Colvin, and Lucinda Williams.
He has toured as support for such artists as Marc Cohen, Colin Hay, Grand Funk Railroad, and The Weepies. Joe has also composed the original score for the independent film, "Play it By Ear" and has had songs featured in the films, "Fishing" and Sams Lake" and on numerous network TV shows.
Teddy Goldstein recently moved to Weston, CT. from Brooklyn, NY. because his wife and kids were moving there and he wanted to stay with them.
His music has been featured on such TV shows as Meet My Folks NBC, The Unit CBS, Everwood, Felicity, Summerland The WB
Teddy has toured with and opened for such artists as Melissa Ferrick, Todd Snider, Dan Bern & Steve Forbert.
He received his first (and most likely last) Gold Record for the German band, Marshall & Alexander, Lover's Forever album.
Teddy is very happy to once again be returning to The Junky Venue.
