The National Careers Service London Inspiration Agenda are delighted to invite you to the 4th Annual Inspiration Agenda Conference – “Jobs of the Future 2017”.

The conference is aimed at careers professionals, teachers and all those involved in Careers Education Information Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) in London state schools and colleges.

This year's conference will explore the theme of "Jobs of the Future" and how to prepare your students for the changing world of work.

The conference is designed to provide you with up-to-date industry insights – you will also have the opportunity to talk to professionals face-to-face at our new Employer Forum.

Our esteemed guest speakers will cover:

  • The importance of resilience
  • Information on Apprenticeships
  • The rise of self-employment
  • 21st Century Working: The new "gig" economy
  • An insight into recruitment practices
  • The breadth of STEM opportunities

Is there a cost for this conference?

Jobs of the Future 2017 is completely free to attend for careers professionals, teachers and all those involved in Careers Education Information Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) in London state schools and colleges.


Can I bring a colleague to the conference?

You are more than welcome to bring a colleague along to the conference, but as spaces are limited, we ask that no more than 2 members of staff per school/college attend. If you have queries regarding this, please contact us at Inspiring.LondonNCS@prospects.co.uk.


What age group will the information provided be for?

The information that will be provided at the conference will be suitable for Careers Advisers & Teachers to disseminate to pupils between 13 and 18 years old. Some information may be appropriate for young adults from 18 to 24 years old. The conference is not suitable for Careers Advisers or Teachers who work with primary school children only.


What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The nearest parking area to 30 Euston Square is at Euston Station (230 spaces).

The closest tube stations are Euston Square Underground Station (accessible by Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith & City lines) and Euston Underground Station (accessible by Northern, Victoria and Overground lines)

Further travel guidance will be sent out to registered attendees a week before the conference.


Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You do not have to print a ticket to attend Jobs of the Future 2017.

Please ensure you have filled out the registration form completely so that we have your details correct for admission to the conference.

If you cannot attend on the day and would like to send a colleague in your place, please amend your details with their name or contact us at Inspiring.LondonNCS@prospects.co.uk.


What if I have registered to attend but then cannot make the conference?

Our places usually fill up very quickly and we often create a waiting list, so if you have registered to attend and find that you cannot make it on the day, please let us know as soon as possible so we can release your place to someone else.
