The job search industry has changed tremendously in the last few years following the rise of social networks and their impact on how we do business. For any single job opening published on any online platform, there are hundreds of applicants who are competing for that position. Anything and everything you can do to set yourself apart from the competing applicants must be done!
Social media has come to stay and to position yourself as a valuable job seeker to a prospective employer, you must know how to use social media to your advantage, in the context of your job search.
This is an intensive learning experience with practical action steps:
- You will learn how to refine your personal brand for job search
- You will learn how to enhance your social media profiles for employers
- You will learn how to bypass traditional hiring processes and land your dream job
- You will learn the top 3 strategies you can use to position yourself as an expert in your field
- You will learn how to create a visual resume
- You will learn how to package and sell yourself as a consultant until you land a job
The seminar will be lead by professional speaker and business owner Lionnel Yamentou, with a guest appearance of entrepreneur and business owner, Quinn Ruffin.
About Lionnel Yamentou
Lionnel Yamentou has been living in the United States for close to two years. He is from Ghana (West Africa) but was born and raised in Cameroon (Central Africa). In 2010, after serving as a teacher and mentor to over two hundred and fifty young adults in an under-developed country, Lionnel realized his messages of motivation and encouragement needed to be heard by more than just those few. Already serving as a Life Planning Coach to that youth, he also became a Motivational Speaker.
When asked the question what you do for a living, he answers: "I am a student of life." Because that does not yet pays the bills, he is also a business owner and entrepreneur, information technology professional and self-published author and writer. In 2013, he graduated from a private university in California with a Master’s Degree in Computer Information Systems.
On average twice every month, Lionnel speaks to audiences of various sizes on different topics with the core theme of living our future, reaching for our dreams. He is a member of Toastmasters International, serves as President of one his clubs and serves as an Area Governor, leading five different clubs.
