Communicating Your Value Wisely During the Job Search Process: How, When and Where

As competition is growing between talent for desired roles, it is important to distinguish the thin line between following up and coming across as desperate and /or agressive in the eyes of the employer.

Being proactive and taking charge of the process that will impact your future, is not an easy task especially when there are cultural differences in the game.

In this workshop with Sara Karu, we will discuss different potential situations in the job search process, . We will explore how to react to each situation in various arenas… with an emphasis on building open communication channels with potential employers to avoid uncertainty, to establish trust as well as to express your interest and motivation, all the while differentiating yourself from others.

We will address the following questions:

- Timing: When is the best time to respond to an employer (without seeming desperate

- Appropriate Responses: Creative phrasing and how to respond politely but assertively

- Communications Etiquette: Where and how should we respond - and any other question you might have on this matter.
