Please join the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Chicago for our Inaugural Jingle Bell Walk on Saturday, December 3, 2016. In its first year, we are expecting over 1,000 walkers to join in the holiday cheer. The Jingle Bell Walk will feature a 3K through Lincoln Park with choirs caroling along the way, hot chocolate and fresh cookies, kid's crafts, a special visit from Santa, and view of the zoo and city holiday lights. Proceeds will go to alleviate poverty among the poor, cold and hungry during the holiday season. All participants will receive a warm pom pom winter hat with our logo and the option to attend the after party (tickets sold separately).
St. Vincent de Paul Chicago is the oldest charity in Chicago serving those in need with basics for human dignity such as food, shelter and clothing. Last year, we provided over 5.4 million dollars in direct aid, in-kind goods, and services, helping over 848,000 people.
